The big family of the Class IIB Humbang Hasundutan Detention Center demonstrated their spirit of solidarity and cooperation among Law Enforcement Agencies (Aparat Penegak Hukum / APH) by attending the Farewell and Transfer Ceremony for the Chief Judge of the Tarutung District Court, Mrs. Marta Napitupulu, S.H., M.H., on Tuesday (November 4).
The event, held at the Command Center, 2nd Floor of the Tarutung District Court Building, was filled with warm yet emotional moments. It served as an expression of appreciation for Judge Marta Napitupulu’s dedication and contributions during her tenure, while also reflecting the strong partnership that has long existed between law enforcement institutions in the regions of Tapanuli Utara and Humbang Hasundutan.
The Head of the Humbahas Detention Center, Ucok P. Sinabang, personally attended the ceremony along with representatives from the Forkopimda (Regional Leadership Communication Forum) of both Humbahas and Tapanuli Utara.
> “Throughout Judge Marta’s leadership, our coordination and collaboration with the Tarutung District Court have been excellent. It is an honor for us to have worked closely in the enforcement of justice, especially in serving the needs of inmates,” Ucok stated during the event.
He emphasized that the farewell event was more than just a formality, but a reaffirmation of mutual respect and unity within the integrated criminal justice system.
> “Solidarity among law enforcement institutions is essential in realizing justice that is both humane and professional. We hope this spirit of collaboration will continue with the new leadership at the Tarutung District Court,” he added.
The event was also attended by officials from the District Prosecutor’s Office, Tarutung Police Department, government agencies, and other justice sector stakeholders. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and respect as attendees extended their best wishes to Judge Marta as she embarks on her new assignment.
In her farewell speech, Judge Marta Napitupulu expressed her sincere gratitude to all law enforcement and government partners who have supported the court’s mission during her service in Tarutung.
> “I am deeply thankful for the outstanding cooperation with the Humbahas Detention Center and all our institutional partners. This collaboration proves that justice cannot stand alone—it must be built through shared commitment across agencies,” she said emotionally.
The ceremony concluded with group photographs and the presentation of souvenirs as tokens of appreciation for the shared journey and collaboration. The farewell was not merely an ending but a continuation of mutual trust and professional partnership among law enforcement agencies in North Sumatra.
Through its presence at this event, the Humbang Hasundutan Detention Center reaffirmed its commitment to fostering inter-agency synergy within the criminal justice system and to providing professional, transparent, and humane correctional services.
